壊されたスーツケース
主人が海外出張で、ハード･スーツケースを持って行き、海外→アメリカ（西側）→シカゴという復路。
アメリカ西側で引き取ったスーツケースを、シカゴへ戻る便に再度預けた時に、政府の検査にあってしまいました。
用心の為に、鍵をかけていたがために、無理やり鍵をこじ開け、鞄の中を全てチェックし、お土産のお菓子の包装紙を剥がし、お菓子の箱の中までチェック。
包装紙、お菓子の説明は、現地で捨てられていて、鞄の中には入って無く、腹立たしいです。
没収されたものがなかったけれど、壊された鍵の補償は一切無く、紙切れ一枚かばんに入っていただけ。
このスーツケースを使うのは２度目。
日本で買ったものなので、部品の関係もあるし。
結局、捨てました。
この紙が、鞄の中に入っていました。下にそのままの文章を入力します。
大まかに言うと、スキャンしていて、あやしいかなぁ？なんて思ったら係員は鞄をあけてもいい事になっていてロックがかかっていた場合は壊して中を見ます。
壊れたものの弁償はしません。
裏側には、読んでもわからない場合は連絡を。
怪しいものなんか、入ってなかったのに。
スーツケースをこじ開けて、中を見た係員にその場で聞きたかったです。

NOTIFICATION OF BAGGAGE INSPECITON
To protect you and your fellow passengers, the Transportation Security Administration(TSA) is required by law to inspect all checked baggage.
As part of this process, some bags are opened and physically inspected. Your bag was among those selected for physical inspection.
During the inspection, the screener was monitored by either direct supervision or camera surveillance while searching for possible prohibited items. At the completion of the inspection, the contents were returned to your bag, which was resealed with tamper-evident seals.
If the TSA screener was unable to open your bag for inspection because it was locked, the screener may have been forced to break the locks on your bag. TSA sincerely regrets having to do this, and has taken care to reseal your bag upon completion of inspection. However, TSA is not liable for damege to your locks resulting from this neccessary security precaution.
